The International Business Advisory Board of the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration was founded in 1992. From its beginnings the Board has been comprised of business and campus leaders bound by a commitment to assisting the College of Commerce in furthering its international initiatives. Over the years, the Board has been instrumental in helping us to develop curriculum, including the dual major and the study abroad component of the World Business Concentration. In addition, Board sponsorship has helped numerous students to study outside the U.S. in programs of their choice throughout the world.
The Board meets twice a year, and on special occasions the meetings are held outside the U.S. Board meetings are festive but working occasions. The C&BA International Business Advisory Board is an active and progressive group that recognizes the necessity of global awareness and is committed to helping us prepare our students to compete in the world marketplace.
